Free 10-product pilot

Test ten products. Judge the workflow, not the pitch.

Together we agree a deliberately mixed set of ten public product listings. Preflight Safe reviews each one and sends back the possible rule matches, the information gaps and the questions worth putting to your supplier. No payment, and no obligation to buy afterwards.

The counter-intuitive point

A useful pilot does not need to produce ten red flags.

The real test is whether it separates obvious non-matches from questions that deserve evidence. A dramatic result is not the goal. A narrower, explainable review queue is.

Sample pack

Read a complete report before you ask for one.

The seven-page PDF is a full fictional deliverable: ten products, the manual checks, the official sources, the next actions and the limits. The CSV shows the same findings as data. The scorecard is the short form you fill in afterwards.

Illustrative findings data

Pilot feedback scorecard

A short scorecard for usefulness, action taken and concrete continuation choices.

The sample uses invented products. It is not a customer result and not a claim about detection rates.

Good pilot fit

Who this test is for

  • Australian Shopify brands, retailers and importers
  • Roughly 20 to 1,000 catalogue products
  • Toys, baby products, battery homewares, gifts or furniture
  • A business able to inspect products and contact its suppliers
  • A team willing to record why it made a product decision
Not the right tool

Do not use this pilot for

  • Legal sign-off, certification or a promise that a product is safe
  • A catalogue dominated by products outside the current four screening areas
  • Storing confidential reports, credentials or personal information
  • Replacing competent testing or specialist review
  • Delaying action on a known hazard, serious incident or recall
How it runs

Choose a deliberately mixed sample.

Do not pick ten near-identical products. Include likely matches, uncertain products and ordinary products. That tests both sensitivity and restraint.

01

Send four facts

Business name, public store URL, product categories and approximate catalogue size. Nothing needs to be attached.

02

Confirm fit

We check whether ten of your public listings sit inside the current coverage, then propose a deliberately mixed set.

03

Agree the scope in writing

You confirm the exact ten public product pages, the covered areas and the delivery date by email before any work begins.

04

Review and human check

Each listing is screened against the four covered areas, then checked by a named reviewer before the report is finalised.

05

Receive the report

Findings, official sources, evidence questions and a plain statement of what the review does not cover.

06

Score the value

Record the time saved, action taken, strongest objection and whether a second use is worthwhile.

Every accepted scope states its planned delivery date. The current target is within five business days after commencement unless the agreed scope says otherwise.

After the report

The business still makes the decision.

The report tells you where to investigate. It does not make a supply decision on your behalf.

Priority evidence check

Inspect the exact product, consider supply controls and escalate a known hazard or urgent trigger.

Scope or evidence review

Fill the information gap and request evidence that matches the exact model and Australian requirement.

Insufficient listing information

Obtain enough exact-product information to perform the four-area screen. Do not infer that no requirement applies.

No text indicator in four-area screen

Keep the result as a limited screen. It is not evidence that the product is safe or compliant.

“No text indicator in the four-area screen” describes only the reviewed listing information. It is not a safety or compliance clearance.

What we ask you for

Four facts, and nothing confidential.

Send the business name, public store URL, product categories and approximate catalogue size. Please do not attach a catalogue file, supplier evidence, personal information or account credentials. The pilot works from the ten agreed public product pages.

Supplier replies and evidence assessment sit outside the free pilot. You request and keep any supplier evidence in your own systems.

The review includes a dated recall search using documented search terms. It is a point-in-time check, not continuous monitoring, and it does not guarantee that no recall exists.

One small proof before a larger build

Ten products are enough to show whether the workflow is useful.

Read the sample. Run one real pilot. Then decide whether the service earned a second use.
