Free 10-product pilotPilot terms · version 22 August 2026

A small evaluation with a firm boundary.

These terms make the pilot useful without turning a limited listing review into a promise of safety or compliance.

01

No-cost evaluation

The pilot reviews up to ten agreed public product listings. No payment details are required.

02

Defined coverage

The review covers four selected areas: button and coin batteries, infant sleep products, toppling furniture, and high-powered or toy magnets.

03

Recorded snapshot

The review uses the public listing information available on the recorded date and selected variant. Public pages can change after that time.

04

Limited purpose

The pilot is a product-listing preflight. It is not certification, legal advice, laboratory testing, continuous monitoring or a guarantee that a product is safe or compliant.

05

Merchant responsibility

The business remains responsible for inspecting the exact product, checking every relevant model and variant, obtaining suitable evidence and making all supply decisions.

06

Public information only

Do not send catalogue files, supplier documents, credentials, customer information, incident details or confidential material. The pilot uses the agreed public pages.

07

Urgent matters excluded

Do not use the pilot for a known hazard, recall, death, serious injury or serious illness. Follow the appropriate ACCC, recall, testing, legal or emergency process.

08

Private treatment

Preflight Safe will not publish the business name, products, report or feedback without separate written permission. The business must not publish the report as an endorsement or certification.

09

One factual correction

A transcription or factual error reported within five business days of delivery will receive one correction round. New products or expanded scope require a separate batch.

10

Research exchange

In return for the no-cost review, the participant will be asked to complete a short usefulness scorecard within ten business days after delivery.

11

Capacity and acceptance

Requests are subject to relevance and available capacity. An enquiry does not guarantee acceptance. The pilot starts only after Preflight Safe proposes the exact scope and confirms commencement in writing.

12

Delivery timing

The agreed scope states an exact planned delivery date. The current target is within five business days after confirmed commencement unless the agreed scope states otherwise.

13

Changed or inaccessible pages

An inaccessible, duplicate or materially changed listing is replaced only by written agreement. It is not silently substituted.

14

Pilot closure

The no-cost pilot ends after report delivery, one factual-correction round and the requested feedback. There is no automatic renewal or obligation to buy. Any paid work requires a separate written scope, price and terms.

Acceptance

The scope is agreed in writing before work starts.

After the fit check, Preflight Safe sends a proposed case reference, the exact ten public URLs and variants, covered areas, planned delivery date and this terms version. The authorised business contact accepts that specific schedule by email. The pilot begins only after Preflight Safe confirms commencement in writing.
